Oscar De La Hoya – The Golden Boy
The Golden Boy of boxing Oscar De La Hoya was born on February 4, 1973 in East Los Angeles, California. This boxing legend is one of the good-looking guys in the field. Though Oscar De La Hoya lost his last fight rather disappointingly to Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao, this blog post is sort of a tribute to this handsome fighter.
Oscar and Manny sort of came from poor families and I think this is why these two fighters are both great. They strove to reach the pedestal that they are now standing on with pure hard work and sheer determination.
